ReadBurner宣布停止服务
ReadBurner是一个基于 Google Reader Shared Items网站，它提供了一个聚集 Google Reader 用户分享内容的信息的平台。 ReadBurner 采用类似于 Digg 模式那样进行过滤，会根据分享的次数进行排列，正因为Google Reader 的用户群体基数巨大，在刚诞生的时候很多人对他的前景非常看好。
不过这个刚流行没多久的RSS 聚合网站，今天主页上宣布，由于开发者没有足够的时间来管理这个站点和一些手上相关项目的原因，将关闭网站停止服务：
I’m sorry to announce that ReadBurner is no longer availiable.
The reason is that I just don’t have time to keep the site up and running, because of some freelance projects that I cannot drop out.I really want to thank all of you guys for supporting me, giving me feedback and visiting ReadBurner. It’s been very exiting to run a website that got so much Buzz from the blogosphere in such a short period of time.
If you are still interested in the idea of ReadBurner I suggest you to try out RSSmeme which is a very well done clone of ReadBurner developed by Benjamin Golub.
在声明中，ReadBurner推荐了一个类似的站点：RSSmeme 。
RSSmeme，一个新上线的信息聚合站点，很像之前引起了较大争论的Techmeme。由来自纽约罗彻斯特州的一位软件工程师Benjamin Golub创建。
据Benjiamin称，RSSmeme使用一个脚本，每5分钟就就进入20个RSS源的抓取数据，而每次抓取，大概只需要一分钟左右。在 RSSmeme里面，每篇文章里面包括文章浏览次数，文章标签，文章被哪些人推荐等等。还使用了大量的Ajax效果，让你可以控制一篇摘要的显示和隐藏，或是在查看摘要的时候，不用刷新页面就直接显示全文。
ReadBurner这个玩具没了，又来了一个RSSmeme，在Web 2.0里，我们最不缺的就是玩具，而且还是免费的，甚至还是国产的。

[...] 之前在3月6号的时候，Fiorono介绍了ReadBurner宣布停止服务。据说是因为开发者Alex将着重于一些新的项目。刚在Mashable看到，此消息一出，Mashable的作者之一Adam Ostrow即和Alex进行接触，目前已经购买下该项目。所以，准确的说，应该是Adam Ostrow购买下了该项目，具体到底是哪些人参与也不是太清楚。 [...]
