DiggFilter 是一款简单实用的 Digg 信息过滤器，对于一般的 Digg 用户来说，Top In Topics 就足够了；而对于沉溺于 Digg 中的铁杆来说，那推荐的 Top 远远不够，而需要自己去筛选： Digg Filter 就提供了另一种阅读的途径，帮助用户筛选，记住它的口号哦：“Digg Filter looks at stories you Dugg in the past and suggests some fresh content”。

 
而另一位主角就是刚刚推出的 DiggSuggest，一款新的第三方 Digg 推荐服务，页面非常之简单。

DiggSuggest 的设计者 Ben Guild 大致介绍了算法的主要思想：首先建立了一个数据库用来记录用户最近提交的 Digg 内容，之后把这些内容和之前的历史内容及热门的话题相比较，给出你可能感兴趣的 Digg 内容。

ReadBurner是一个基于 Google Reader Shared Items网站，它提供了一个聚集 Google Reader 用户分享内容的信息的平台。 ReadBurner 采用类似于 Digg 模式那样进行过滤，会根据分享的次数进行排列，正因为Google Reader 的用户群体基数巨大，在刚诞生的时候很多人对他的前景非常看好。

不过这个刚流行没多久的RSS 聚合网站，今天主页上宣布，由于开发者没有足够的时间来管理这个站点和一些手上相关项目的原因，将关闭网站停止服务：

I’m sorry to announce that ReadBurner is no longer availiable.
The reason is that I just don’t have time to keep the site up and running, because of some freelance projects that I cannot drop out.

I really want to thank all of you guys for supporting me, giving me feedback and visiting ReadBurner. It’s been very exiting to run a website that got so much Buzz from the blogosphere in such a short period of time.

If you are still interested in the idea of ReadBurner I suggest you to try out RSSmeme which is a very well done clone of ReadBurner developed by Benjamin Golub.

鲜果热文Digg已经推出有段时间，而我爱水煮鱼也第一时间送上了基于Wordpress的鲜果站外Digg按钮插件《鲜果热文新功能：站外 Digg 按钮》。

原文中已经给出了该插件详细的说明，不过只能在文章的开头或结尾位置加上这个按钮，而不能随意放置。
